Getting Started

Log in to SalonBill and switch outlets

Sign in at app.salonbill.com with your mobile number, email or Google, reset a forgotten password, and switch between your salon outlets.

Who can use it
Owner/Admin, Co-owner, Manager, Accountant (Employees use the SalonBill mobile app)
Where to find it
app.salonbill.com → Sign In; top bar → outlet switcher

You sign in to SalonBill in your web browser at app.salonbill.com. After signing in, the outlet switcher in the top bar decides which branch you are working in.

What this feature does

  • Sign In opens your salon account with your mobile number or email and password, or with Google.
  • Forgot password? sends you a new temporary password.
  • The outlet switcher moves you between the outlets (branches) you belong to. Bills, customers, staff and settings always belong to the selected outlet.

Who can use it

  • Owner/Admin, Co-owner, Manager and Accountant can sign in to the web app, if their staff record is active and Give Login Access is on.
  • Employees cannot sign in to the web app. If they try, they see "Employees are not allowed to login." Employees use the SalonBill mobile app for attendance and their own performance.

Where to find it

Go to app.salonbill.com. The outlet switcher is the coloured drop-down in the top bar, next to the WhatsApp status pill.

How to use it

  1. Open app.salonbill.com.
  2. Choose Mobile Number or Email Address at the top of the form.
  3. Enter your mobile number or email and your Password.
  4. Tick Remember me if this is your own device.
  5. Click Sign In.

You can also click Sign in with Google. Use the Google account whose email is saved on your SalonBill login.

Forgot your password

  1. On the sign-in screen click Forgot password?
  2. Enter the Email Address saved on your login and click Send Reset Link.
  3. SalonBill sends a new temporary password on WhatsApp (to the mobile number on your login) and by email, whichever is available.
  4. Sign in with the temporary password, then change it in Settings → Update password (Owner/Admin and Co-owner), or ask your salon owner to set a new one for you.

If the temporary password could not be delivered, you see a message and your old password stays unchanged.

Switch outlet

  1. Click the outlet name in the top bar.
  2. Pick another outlet from the list.
  3. The page reloads its data for that outlet. If you were on a customer's profile, SalonBill takes you back to the customer list so you never see the previous outlet's customer.
Top bar with the outlet switcher, WhatsApp status pill and Refresh button
1 Outlet switcher · 2 WhatsApp status · 3 Refresh

SalonBill remembers the selected outlet on that device, also after a refresh.

Common problems

I typed the right password but it still fails?

Check you picked the right tab (Mobile Number or Email Address) and that the number is typed exactly as saved on your login. If you still cannot sign in, use Forgot password? or see I cannot log in.

I don't see my other branch in the switcher?

You are not linked to that outlet, or the outlet is inactive. Ask the Owner/Admin to add you to that outlet.

I didn't get the temporary password?

It goes to the WhatsApp number and email saved on your login. If neither is correct, ask the salon owner to set a new password for you from your staff profile.
